There have been calls for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to resign, claims that he has lost the moral authority to govern.
In my view, the most important thing right now is for Trudeau to be under criminal investigation.
The stunning testimony of Jody Wilson-Raybould on Wednesday demands nothing less than a full investigation of Trudeau and his senior staff for obstruction of justice.
“There is no solution here that does not involve some interference,” Butts told Wilson-Raybould’s chief of staff, Jessica Prince, in a meeting last December.
In a phone call the next day, the clerk of the Privy Council, Michael Wernick, told Wilson-Raybould that the PM wanted a special deal for SNC-Lavalin and that Trudeau “is gonna find a way to get it done one way or another. So, he is in that kinda mood and I wanted you to be aware of that.”
