It’s all starting to make sense now.
Before his massive victory on Super Tuesday, former Vice President Joe Biden was considered a dead candidate. But then, after a wave of moderate Democrat candidates dropped out of the race, Biden found himself being endorsed enough to make him the front-runner again.
Biden’s surge was so unexpected that many people think that it all may be due to the actions of former President Barack Obama. According to the New York Post, Obama was in contact over the weekend with former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who stunningly dropped out of the race on Sunday and threw his support behind Biden on Monday.
Buttigieg’s Secret Meeting With Obama
According to the New York Times and other news outlets cited by the Post, Obama and Buttigieg supposedly met to talk about how Buttigieg’s dropout could best influence the 2020 election.
