Vietnam’s Covid-19 related death rate (CRD) was “zero” up to August 2020. By early September 2020, there were 35 CRDs recorded and then the CRD rate was
“zero” for a period of eight months from September 2020 to May 2021. Essentially there was no Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam and yet the vaccination program
was initiated in March 2021. Observe the enormous increase in CRDs within 4 to 5 months of the initial vaccinations with the CRD rate running unabated into the
spring of 2022. Over 43,000 citizens of Vietnam died a CRD in the twelve month period ending May 2022 (i.e. 3,586 CRDs per month or about 118 per day). Vietnam
has experienced one of the most extreme CRD rates in the entire world. The CRD rate essentially “flattened” by June 2022 with a “zero” CRD rate since December
2022. The question to be asked “is the pandemic over in Vietnam?
