“You talk to an older generation of folks and they say, ‘Oh no, I remember I had to scrimp and save for years before we could set a down payment on a home. It was really hard. It was a big expense. Housing is always hard. No, you didn’t,” stated PM Justin Trudeau in his latest piece of verbal pretension.

Reflecting on this statement speaks to the pompous nature of Canada’s prime minister. Who is this man– or any other– to pass judgement on individual financial circumstances of tens of millions of “Old Stock” Canadian citizens?

Trudeau is a silver spoon-fed rich kid from Quebec who has never struggled financially in his life. The idea that he speaks from experience is laughable. Our PM speaks not as if his role is to manage our economy, but rather that, being a Trudeau-family member, he has the right to own our economy.
