Please take part in this Call to Action!

Dear Easton Spectator readers ,

Voters in British Columbia have no confidence in the results of the 2024 BC Election due to the egregious mismanagement of ballots and the mounting evidence that the election results may have been rigged to benefit the NDP.

Two and a half weeks after the election the public were notified that a ballot box containing 861 uncounted votes had been discovered. In addition, further errors were found, including 14 votes going unreported in a crucial riding narrowly won by the NDP. A report revealed that data entry omissions resulted in mistakes impacting “a small number of votes in ’69’ of the province’s 93 ridings”. How is this a small number?

BC Conservative Leader John Rustad is calling for an independent review stating that the errors are “an unprecedented failure by the very institution responsible for ensuring the fairness and accuracy of our elections”. Meanwhile, the Lt. Governor of BC, who was appointed by David Eby, has asked him to form government again.

But a review is not good enough. There needs to be a re-election and the use of ‘electronic tabulators’, mail-in ballots, the option to vote-by-phone and the ability to ‘vouch’ for someone, must be prohibited, and mandatory photo ID (including name and current address) reinstated.

Anton Boegman, BC Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, is the person responsible for this failure to run a clean election. Boegman is the “planning expert who co-developed Elections BC’s unique electoral planning framework…” and is responsible for implementing the ‘voting tabulators’ and other policies that have opened the door to potential election fraud.

Boegman played a key role in the breakdown of our democratic election process and must take responsibility. He needs to call for a re-election and then resign, immediately.

Dear Mr. Boegman, BC Deputy Chief Electoral Officer,

As a result of the multiple Election BC violations, including the egregious mismanagement of ballots, I demand a re-election as soon as possible to ensure that the integrity of the election process is upheld and our democratic rights are protected. I further demand that the use of ‘electronic tabulators’, mail-in ballots, the option to vote-by-phone and the ability to ‘vouch’ for someone, be prohibited, and mandatory photo ID (including name and current address) be reinstated.

John Rustad called the errors “an unprecedented failure by the very institution responsible for ensuring the fairness and accuracy of our elections.”

BC voters have little to no confidence in the results of this election because of the systems and policies you implemented.

Elections BC’s reputation is in disrepute due to your failure to protect the ‘democratic’ election process. In order to regain the public’s confidence, immediate steps need to be taken: call a re-election and then resign.

Yours sincerely,

  1. I totally agree, this election was rigged from the beginning. Even if you email Elections BC you get nothing but BS back. There should be no mail in votes, no online votes, and no phone in votes period end of story. Bring back voting where employers give half a day off to vote. I did early voting, I sent an email to BC elections about my concern. The people whether paid or volunteered had no idea how to work the machines. 2 people in front of me, they had troubles putting their vote into the machine. The guy before me they had to call someone. My turn came the machine spit it out, tried 2nd time same thing, 3rd time the charm. But then this lady says hit that button I did. Then they all said we don’t know if your vote was counted!!!! Would it be the machine was spitting out Conservative votes? Why independents on the vote, where some places only have the 3 Green, NDP, CON, yet other ridings had different names, how the hell does that work????

  2. Why is Dianne Ritchie so upset? This was a Province of B.C. election.
The New Democratic Party (NDP) were the incumbent group. As a result, as previously demonstrated, they will lie, cheat and steal to do whatever it takes to remain in control and power over the citizens.

You must remember that originally the NDP were originally formed under the political name of being the CANADIAN COMMUNIST FEDERATION (CCF). In the 1970s the CCF decided to change their name to the NDP because they discovered that Canadian citizens were not attuned to being acceptable to a Communist set of politicians. As a result, their name may have changed but their ideological beliefs and continual controls over the citizens didn’t. The name might have changed but their socialistic attitudes, thoughts and beliefs NEVER changed.

As a result, Ms Ritchie, you get to accept what the vote was and not necessarily what you voted for.

There is an old saying that apparently originated from Validimar Lenin who was the Communist leader in Russia at the time. He is reported to have said: “It doesn’t matter who votes. What matters is who counts the votes and who they are counted for.”

    Welcome to B.C. Provincial politics.

  3. Why did John Rustad concede instead of standing up against what looks like and smells like election fraud?

Where’s law enforcement on these election fraud concerns?

Even Harvey Oberfeld said enough, and didn’t vote NDP this time.

  4. Note to Editor:

The Communist Party of Canada (CPC) was founded in 1921 in Ontario (where else), It quickly became affiliated with another Communist group known as the Relief Camp Workers Union (RCWU) which in turn became the Workers Unity League (WUL) in 1930.

In 1932 the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) party was formed and became affiliated with the CPC which included the WUL.

Subsequently members of the CPC, the WUL, and the CCF became involved in the unemployed workers riots in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1935 in which some rioters were killed and/or severally injured as a result of the actions of the RCMP and the Regina City Police.

The CCF party continued to be affiliated with the CPC and in 1961, the CCF party changed it’s name to what is now known as the New Democratic Party (NDP).

Currently, the NDP still contributes monies to the CPC. Virtually every Labor Union in Canada contributes monies to support the NDP. In addition, virtually every Labor Union in Canada also directly contributes monies to support the CPC.
