It happened on Remembrance Day, 2024, so it’s possible it could happen again. It’s a situation that can occur under circumstances in which the will of government stands in opposition to the will of the people.

Normally reserved for political climates in authoritarian societies, the phenomenon exists as a fundamental of Canada’s current Liberal government. Much dust has been kicked up this month as our nation’s academic “intelligensia” substitute the Palestinian ticket for respect and reverence for those who fought and died for our country.

The epicentre is– no surprise– the immigrant-rich urban landscape of the Greater Toronto Area[GTA].

At the Sir Robert Borden School in Ontario, administrators selected an Arabic-language Palestinian protest anthem, ‘Haza Salam,’ to serve as the only music featured at their Remembrance Day ceremony.”

“They chose an Arabic song about peace for Gaza as the only song to play for a Remembrance Day service’ said a disappointed parent.”
