BC Throne Speech —Flip Flopping And Expensive Dirty Green
If ever there was a flip flop it is the BC Socialists .
These are the people who were against Fossil Fuels and now they will fast track them according to this Throne Speech.
They talk of mining projects—never mentioning that the Province’s biggest export is a fossil fuel which that have maligned —-and that is coal which represented over 15 % of all exports this past year according to the Governments own records and then in the next breath they talk of green energy
Coal and Green Energy.
The hypocrisy of it all.
And natural gas , another fossil fuel , is one of the Province’s big exports.
Great talk of fighting the Americans highlights this Speech .
Yet, more tax credits to the film industry —and where oh where does that film investment come from —-the Americans.
BC Government’s own press release of December 2024 said;
“In B.C., foreign productions make up more than 80% of total production spending on average. Maintaining strong international relationships is critical for the film and TV industry to continue to thrive.
In November, Bailey, Chandra Herbert and Nina Krieger, parliamentary secretary for arts and film, went to Los Angeles to meet with studio decision-makers. The delegation discussed ways to enhance the Province’s competitiveness and highlight the benefits of filming in B.C. and understand the needs of the industry.”
And then that green energy—which kills birds , is expensive , destroys eco systems —is highlighted in the speech —and where do many of the solar panels and wind turbines come from : China . That fountain of totalitarianism!!
And to demonstrate how non green wind projects are as energy expert Mark P. Mills explains:
One Wind Turbine Takes 900 Tons of Steel , 2500 Tons Of Concrete , 45 Tons of Plastic!
And that is our Provincial Leadership as demonstrated in their latest Throne Speech.
