There’s this constant fear-mongering in Canada that Donald Trump is some kind of existential threat to the country, that he wants to annex Canada, take our resources, or somehow destabilize us. But let’s be real—that’s just a distraction from what’s actually happening. Trump doesn’t care about annexing Canada; what he actually wants is a secure and stable North America, and the biggest threat to that isn’t Trump—it’s Canada’s corrupt and incompetent leadership.
.
Think about it: Canada under Trudeau has become a weak link. The country is bogged down by a government that’s more focused on virtue-signaling and cronyism than actually running a functional nation. Trudeau has sold out Canada’s natural resource industry, let foreign interests meddle in our democracy, and spent the country into an economic disaster—all while pretending he’s some great progressive leader. The only reason the media constantly pushes the narrative that Trump is the bad guy is to stop Canadians from looking at the real corruption happening inside our own borders.
.
Trump won! He isn’t coming for Canada—he’s coming for the forces that are weakening North America. He wants strong borders, energy independence, and economic prosperity across the continent. That’s the opposite of what Trudeau and his Liberal government are doing. Trudeau has weakened Canada’s energy sector, made the country dependent on foreign oil, and driven investment out with insane tax policies. Meanwhile, Trump’s focus has always been on securing America’s economic future and cutting out corrupt, globalist politicians—the exact type that are running Canada into the ground.
.
The fact is, a strong Canada benefits Trump’s vision for North America. The U.S. doesn’t need to annex Canada—it just needs a Canadian government that isn’t corrupt, incompetent, and in the pockets of foreign influences. If Trump wanted control over Canada’s resources, he wouldn’t need to take over—he’d just need a Canadian government that works with America rather than against it.
.
And yet, Trudeau and his allies will keep pushing the idea that Trump is dangerous, that he’s some looming authoritarian, because they know their own grip on power is what’s really at risk. They’re terrified of a North American leader who actually calls out corruption instead of covering it up. They know that if Trump focuses on cleaning up the broken system in Ottawa, their entire charade could come crashing down.
.
At the end of the day, Trump isn’t the one destroying Canada—our own government is. And instead of fearing some imaginary U.S. invasion, Canadians should be looking at the real threat: a leadership class that’s selling out the country while keeping everyone distracted with anti-Trump hysteria. Canada’s corrupt political elites are very, very nervous—because he won’t be coming for Canada, he’ll be coming for them.
Well said, now if only we can get Canadians out of their Trump Syndrome. So sad that Canadians are now going to buy Canadian. You should have been buying Canadian before this shit started. Are you all still shopping at Costco and Walmart? Are you still on Facebook, twitter and Instagram? So Trump opens Canadians eyes on what is going on in Canada with our corporate lieberal government. You can bet the liberals are rigging the Carney election, and we will be lucky to get an election.
