He knew, as you (Trump) should have known that the “critical” metals are now actually in the lands currently taken and occupied by the Russians. You can absolutely bet that the Russians are NOT going to give them to you. No matter how much you mouth off about your purported “friendship” with Putin. The Russians might eventually sell them to America at sometime in the future but I suspect that Putin and the Russians don’t like you any more than the majority of Canadians do.
Speaking of Canada. We in Canada do in fact have those very same critical metals, oil and gas reserves, water supplies, lumber supplies, grain supplies and electrical energy supplies that America is running out of. However, as long as you continue to try to brow-beat and bully us, and try to intimidate us with your phony “tariffs” you won’t be able to.
