They said it would never happen.
They mocked us, ignored us, and dismissed us outright.
But the Conservative Party of BC didn’t back down – and neither did you.
And now, David Eby has been forced to scrap the consumer carbon tax.
This is a HUGE win for working British Columbians.
Let’s be clear – Eby didn’t wake up one day and decide he doesn’t like carbon taxes.
He caved because YOU spoke out and YOU fought back. THANK YOU!
But Eby isn’t done taxing you – not by a long shot. Now, the NDP is floating new industry taxes that will, of course, be passed on to you.
A carbon tax by another name is STILL a carbon tax!
That’s why we need your help to keep the pressure on. The only way to get rid of high NDP taxes is to get rid of the NDP.
This fight is far from over. But this win shows what’s possible when our common-sense movement flexes its muscles.
We forced them to retreat once – now let’s finish the job.
