Canada Is So Broken That The Main Parties Fight Over Only Liberal Policies And Likely Don’t Even Know It.
And apparently most Canadians are alright with that.
Can you believe it? The Liberal Party ahead in the polls —just with the change of a leader who if anything is more wok than Trudeau and was his advisor? And has the same people in the Executive.?
His latest pronouncement on Israel and Hamas is another good example of leftist ideology gone wild. Right in bed with his friends, the Europeans. A two state solution when one side ,Hamas .vows to eliminate the Jewish State and abhors democracy. Where is there another democracy in the Middle East besides Israel? And Hamas has no historic legitimacy to any of the land. They are a 20th century construct.
My wife and I met with Bedouin leadership in Israel that will never go to live in a nation of their own religion. Because freedom does not exist there. Israeli Bedouin run for political office and are in the Israeli armed forces. We met Druze leadership —same thing.
Have any of the Canadian Liberal , Conservative or NDP leadership spent time with the Bedouin of Israel or the Druze of Israeli? Have never heard them speak of it.
We don’t have free trade in our own country and all main political parties are responsible for that . And actually support supply management. So I can see why we really are not that enamoured with free trade. Unless it is our version of exceptions. It is so crazy that we have our own National Free Trade Agreement!
We have state control in just about everything . Just look at the Trans Mountain Pipeline. Started at $5. 4 billion. 12 years later $34 billion—state control. Look at the mismanaged Site C Hydro Project in BC or on the other side of the Country , the tragic Lower Churchill Falls Hydro debacle wrapped in two disastrous deals— —-both state control. And then there is The Government concessions on LNG in BC!! And the state subsidized auto industry of Ontario!
Democracy you say? We celebrate tiny legal victories and condone the big losses. Look at the trials of the Albertans at the border. And the leaders of the Truckers ? Is this justice? .What about how these main parties approached the charade of the Emergency Act and the Rouleau Commission? All the main parties supported this circus. And where were they in Ottawa during the Truckers’ Convoy? I was denied witness status at those hearings even though I am the last living signatory of the Patriation Agreement , was at the Ottawa protest speaking on behalf of the truckers and helped organize meetings of the truckers’ leadership with the leadership of the City of Ottawa .
The Charter of Rights and Freedoms has been mauled and desecrated beyond recognition. The opening words of the Charter twisted and God and the rule of law demeaned and ignored. Covid provided the cover to do whatever Governments (Liberal, Conservative and NDP) wanted —Federally and Provincially and the courts saw the chance to unconstitutionally gain the balance of power. Undemocratic Mandates and Lockdowns became common place —citizens rights and freedoms be damned. Remember Shelia Lewis, Dr. Charles Hoffe , Dr. Byram Bridle and Dr. Jordan Peterson.
And
In my own legal case, with other Canadians, the courts including the SCOC would consider invoking only their own rule.
Mootness overrules the citizens right to know.
Have you ever heard of anything so undemocratic? But accepted by the parties.
And NATO ?
A ten year violation of the agreement to pay 2.5% of our defence budget on Defence. And there is still no firm date to become honest on it. Yet , we spend billions on foreign aid and Ukraine—-and immigrants while 5 million Canadians are without a family physician and we have some of the longest hospital wait times
in the western world. How many died and/or injured because of undemocratic mandates and lockdowns, in addition to vaccine caused injury and death?
Oh! And all main parties condone MP’s breaking the law and still serving in our Federal Parliament and all of our Governments seem to enjoy deficits and debts. Fiscal responsibility is gone the way of the Charter.
You ask me, then, why I will not vote for these parties? The system is broken and the main parties are part of the system and helped cause our demise. I have seen it from three sides : in the politics, in the business and now as a citizen . Reforming the system will take new parties , a new and different political and economic culture.
