Love him or hate him, think he’s a monster or a saviour or just don’t give a damn, one thing is clear.
Maxime Bernier does not sound crazy. The People’s party leader is in Calgary and does not appear vile. If he has horns, he left them at home.
Bernier is not some guy out of nowhere.
He is an MP and former cabinet minister and came within a hair of being the Conservative leader instead of Andrew Scheer. Somebody must like him.
Is he putting into words what more than a few people are thinking?
Speaking of words, Bernier has some of them for the Conservative leader.
He thinks Scheer doesn’t know what he believes, will say what you want to hear and is ready to please anybody to be in government.
