Direct from an Interior Health employee…
Kelowna and Kamloops hospitals are utterly overwhelmed by intake primarily through ER. So many patients stuck in corridors, patients rammed into rooms over capacity and above staff count. Short staffed.
Capacity levels highest they’ve ever been including peak of Covid.
Cardigan, heart issues, strokes, weird undiagnosed maladies, cognitive, all sorts.
No covid cases, all random sickness.
Unusual seasonal peak, has never happened at this time of the year before.
Wonder when this will get onto the msm narrative? Employee shortage? Mysterious illnesses?
