The NDP are lying to you. Last week, NDP Health Minister and Deputy Premier Sarah Hoffman proudly sat on the couch of a normal Alberta family to champion the carbon tax rebate that they are getting.
The NDP used a photo of them all in a press release, and Hoffman tweeted the picture out as proof that normal people like the carbon tax.
This family, the Collins, were sold to us as just a regular Alberta mom, dad and a cute little baby. And they were so grateful to the NDP for this bribe with their own money.
And the media? Well they ate it up until the public, smelling a rat, committed some real journalism.
