In a single sentence, those who question assisted dying policy in Canada can pick up on a piece of reality. Euthanasia is a decidedly “western” affair. Leading the procession are nations within the “Anglosphere”– western democratic societies.
Noticeably absent are the countries which the Liberal Government of Canada value most: China, Middle Eastern nations, communist and theocratic societies. We then consider the extent to which legacy media in Canada point to this phenomenon:
