The anti-Trump bandwagon in Canada is rejoicing after another show of, according to our media, idiotic behaviour by the American president.

I dislike Donald Trump, his bullying, and many of his policies. But I am not on the anti-Trump bandwagon.

Why? Because our Trump Derangement Syndrome blinds us to reality. It makes us forget that American fears about lax U.S. borders, terrorism, economic imbalance and the intolerance that stems from them, do not exist because Trump is in the White House.
